Le Creperie

Project 52: Date Nights logo

For date night we turned our kitchen into a little creperie. We've never made crepes before and it was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. It took us a couple practice crepes to get the right amount of batter and whirling action in the pan. Colby, ever the perfectionist, got it down pretty good. :)
We filled ours with apple pie filling and topped 'em with Cool Whip, caramel sauce and powdered sugar. Mmmm, don't they look yummy?
We had fun making these and learning a new skill. A great date night. :)

Those look amazing. The last time I tried to make crepes, I was 14 and decided to dye them green. The green was a turn off - kind of like green ketchup! May have to try making them again {as a grown up and sans the dye}.
