Little Monkey

Owen has no fear. That kid is just busy, busy, busy. He gets around with ease and is always trying crawl up and over anything and everything. I really thought Landon kept me on my toes, but Owen is turning out to be even busier!! :P

A Very Merry UnBirthday

Last week the kids and I celebrate our un-birthdays. We watched some of Alice in Wonderland and baked a cake. The kids got to decorate it with Cailyn's decorating kit she got for Christmas. They thought this was so cool and keep asking if it's our unbirthday again.

The Cheerio Bandit

I love how even though Owen has a full tray of Cheerios he has to steal some of his brothers!

First haircuts

The boys' hair was getting pretty scraggly so we decided it was time for a haircut. :)

Little Fishies

We've only been swimming in Mom & Dad's pool a couple times and my kids have never really been exposed to pools. So I was SHOCKED that when Cailyn & Landon went over there the other day they were actually swimming! (And of course we weren't there!) Cailyn has only used floaties up til now but look how well she did without them and holding her breath. I'm so proud of my little girl. :)

And Landon didn't do too bad either. He was actually going under the water which is a HUGE deal for him.

Swimming Fun

On Monday we went over to Mom & Dad's for dinner and some impromptu swimming afterword. The kids all had so much fun! The babies got in (totally naked!) and just loved splashing around in the jacuzzi.

Cailyn had fun learning to swim.

And I couldn't resist getting a cute little twin bum shot. :)

Water Hopscotch

Holy cow has it been HOT!!! I bought the kids this cute water hopscotch and they finally were able to play with it today. They had so much fun!

Climbing & falling

I had no idea Jacob could climb up the stairs until I caught him doing it. He could use some lessons on getting back down though! I wish I could've caught his entire fall on video but my motherly instincts kicked in too quick and I grabbed him. He just looked at me like, whoa what just happened?!

Curious Owen

Owen is such a curious little busy body! Ever since he started crawling he has been all around our house, exploring everything. The other day he tried following the kids outside and look longingly at the great outdoors.
Later that day he crawled into the bathroom to see what Landon was up to.

And then he got distracted by the door stop. :P

And I thought Landon was a busy kid. I have a feeling this boy is gonna be just the same, if not worse! Jacob, on the other hand, is perfectly content to stay and play in one place. I hope he stays that way. :)

Caged Animal

Cailyn thought it would be fun to build a little playpen for Owen. She should have know it wasn't strong enough for him! He broke through all too easily and I don't think he was very happy about being caged in!

Red, White & Blue

The kids & I decorated some red, white and blue sugar cookies to celebrate the Fourth. Then Cailyn and I painted our nails. Landon wanted his painted, too, but Cailyn convinced him that it's only for girls. :)

Tea Party

One of our "can" activities was to have a tea party. We got a new tea set and set everything up in the playroom. We had apple juice, muffins, strawberries, heart shaped brownies, and shaped cheese & bologna. The kids thought it was so much fun and have had several tea parties of their own since then. :)
