Car Wash

After our vacation we decided the car had to be cleaned. Landon found the bucket of water and sponge and went to town! I think he got himself more wet than the car. He had a blast playing!

Playin' in the Rain

We had a sudden downpour and thunderstorm here so I let Cailyn go out and play in the rain. She's been wanting to play in the rain forever but once she got out there she wasn't quite sure what to do! It's not quite like you see in her cartoons. But she had fun for the few minutes she was out there.

And that's the rules!

These signs are posted on every ride at Disneyland. Here is Cailyn's version of what they mean:

"Sit in your seat and hold hands, get buckled, don't get out and dance (my personal favorite!), don't get unbuckled. And that's the rules." And yes, she does make you hold hands on every ride! :o)

Happy Birthday Colby!!!

Colby turned 30! And where did he want to go for his birthday -- yep, Disneyland! We had so much fun, too!
EDIT(from Colby): I did not want to go...but my two kids twisted my arm and held lethal weapons to me forcing me to go.

Apple Slicer

My mom & dad took our kids out shopping the other day to buy us Mother's Day/Birthday presents and let Cailyn pick everything out. Colby got a nifty flashlight and soccer ball and I got fishy crackers and an apple slicer. Here's the funny story about the slicer: Cailyn said Mommy needed an apple slicer but that we already had one. So my mom and dad were a bit confused but went along with it. When they told me that, I remembered that a couple days ago (now don't judge me!!!) I told Cailyn ours was broken cuz I really didn't feel like cutting her apple! The little smartypants remembered that so now I have no excuse! Oh how I love my kids and love being a mother!!!
Colby and I also got a GPS system from my mom and dad, though I think this is more for me as I seem to get lost EVERYWHERE! This will definately come in handy!
