Thanksgiving Feast
Landon had his Thanksgiving Feast for preschool. They did a little show where they sang a bunch of songs and all Landon could do was just sit there silently and still while every single other kid was singing and doing the actions. It was so funny to watch him! Cailyn did the same exact thing when she did it. What's wrong with my kids?! :P

A giant hole
Last night I was upstairs when I heard Cailyn's "hurt" cry. I went downstairs to investigate and the first thing I noticed was a spot of blood on the carpet which didn't bode well. I told Cailyn to sit up and then all I saw was a giant gaping hole in her mouth! Apparently the kids were wrestling, trying to be the only one in front of the TV when Landon's head connected with her jaw and I guess he knocked her tooth out! She was just as shocked as me and stopped crying and started giggling. We finally found her tooth after a bit of searching (it was stuck to the bottom of her foot!). I told her all she has to do now is loose her other front tooth before Christmas so she can sing, "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth." She thought that was pretty funny.
Life is never dull when you have kids!!! :)

Cailyn turns 7
It's hard to believe that 7 years ago Cailyn came into our family and changed our lives forever. She is growing up way too fast! The morning of her birthday I told her I want her to stop getting older. She said, "Okay, Mom, I'll only stop getting older if you stop getting older." Fine by me!!! :)
Cailyn requested a panda cake for her birthday.
And the black frosting turned her teeth and mouth black, ew!!!

Crazy Sleep Habits
Landon has always had his little quirks when it comes to bedtime. Most kids like to sleep with stuffed animals or blankies, but Landon has always preferred cars, rocks, Daddy's tools, playing cards (the queen is mommy, king is daddy!) or some other random object. So I shouldn't have been too surprised last night when he wanted to wear his safety goggles to bed. I tried to talk him out of it but of course he wouldn't listen. And how he fell asleep with them on is beyond me! Such a crazy kid. :)
And yes, I did remove them after taking these pics. :P

One Year Old
I really can't believe our boys are a year old already! It has gone by in the blink of an eye. There were definitely some rough moments along the way, but we are so happy these little monkeys joined our family. :)
These boys are our only kids to even TOUCH their birthday cakes! Jacob was a little more timid with his, but Owen sure dug in fast.
They didn't quite understand the opening presents part. They had more fun playing with the wrapping paper and bags. :P

Trouble Maker
Halloween Cuisine & Pumpkins
Here are a few more Halloween meals we enjoyed last week. Colby made us some spiderweb nachos and I found some Halloween shaped tortilla chips at the store. We also had some mummy pizzas:
And witches broomsticks.
We carved our pumpkins on Halloween. Landon wouldn't touch them, even when he had gloves on. :P
Landon picked out a ghost...
and Cailyn picked out a vampire ...
