Silly Boys

A couple times lately we've found Jacob sitting on top of Owen! I am actually a little surprised it's not the other way around cuz Owen is usually the brute. :P


And this is what happens when I ask Colby to feed the babies. He gets food for Jacob and lets Owen fend for himself. Or maybe he was just punishing Owen for getting beat up on by his brother. :)

Feelin' Festive

I know it's a terrible pic (can't WAIT til we get a new camera!) but the kids looked so festive at dinner the other night. They had their Halloween shirts on and we pulled out the Halloween placemats, plates, cups, straws, etc. We love the holidays around here. :)

Sunday Night Fun

A Lesson Learned

Every night the kids have to make sure the playroom is cleaned. Yesterday it was especially messy and they were in one of those moods where they were more inclined to play and make more of a mess than clean. I told them they had 10 minutes and if it wasn't cleaned they would be grounded.

The next thing I knew Cailyn was up there carrying on and crying and sobbing. I'd had enough by that point so I told her to go to bed early and that tomorrow she would be grounded and have to clean by herself. So today after school she cleaned and cleaned and finally by 5:00pm it was clean. Then she had to stay in her room for the rest of the night. As she was walking away I asked her if she learned her lesson. She said, "Yes, I learned not to cry like it's the end of the world." :)
