Growing up too fast ...

Cailyn is just growing up to fast! She has learned how to use the mircrowave to make herself lunch. And now that she knows how, she WILL NOT let me make lunch for her. Every day she wants chicken nuggets cuz she can make it herself. She is such a sweetie and it breaks my heart that she is growing up!

Cailyn's First Award

Today Cailyn got her first award at school and she couldn't have been more excited! She got to sit with Landon and me throughout the assembly and she just couldn't wait until it was her turn to get her award. And when she went up there she was all smiles, waving, blowing kisses, and making sure I was watching her the whole time. :) Landon wasn't too happy that she went up. He kept trying to make his way through the crowd to go get her while I was trying to take pics. He kept shouting, "School, School!" cuz that's what he calls her. Little twit! But Cailyn had a great time and I'm so proud of her!

Happy Anniversary

So yesterday was our 9 year anniversary. It's so hard to believe that it's been 9 years already and crazy to look back and see everything that has happened in that time! So how did we celebrate our anniversary? We went to Chuck E. Cheese and then went miniature golfing. And yes, we took the kids with us. :)

Shame on Grandma ....

I found Landon drawing spots on his arm with Cailyn's markers. Then I noticed something on his hand that looked suspiciously like a shamrock. So I asked Cailyn if she drew on her brother and she got this shy little grin on her face. I told her she shouldn't have drawn on Landon and she said, "But Grandma said it was okay!" That's when I remembered our conversation w/Grandma at lunch today. Grandma told Cailyn that since Landon wasn't wearing green she should draw a shamrock on him. And well, that's exactly what she did!!!

St. Patrick's Day

Yesterday Cailyn & I made a little leprechaun trap. She had so much fun making it, but even more fun thinking of all the fun things she was going to do with her leprechaun when she caught him. I was worried she would be disappointed when she didn't catch one, but she seemed okay with the pot of gold & the Lucky Charms he brought her. :)

At school today she got to make a leprechaun hat & beard and one of the room mom's painted everyone's faces.

Landon wears a loin cloth...

Landon had a FULL diaper tonight...and it hung so low to his knees that it looked like he was wearing a loin cloth. It was pretty gross, sad, funny, saggy, and ohhh...did I already mention that it was super FULL.

Friday Night Fun

Tonight was pizza & movie night so we made mini personal pizzas for dinner and spread out a blanket on the floor to eat and watch Madagascar 2. The kids loved eating on the floor. And I enjoyed watching them watch the movie. They were dancing and squealing with laughter. Towards the end we made a pizookie, but before it was done the kids fell asleep so I just *had* to eat it all by myself. And I even finished watching the movie by myself -- it was quite the entertaining kids show!

Dr. Seuss Day

For Dr. Seuss Day we made green eggs and ham for lunch. :) Cailyn was quite skeptical about it at first, but then she gobbled it up and asked for seconds.
